Feminism as a character flaw among men
It is apparently abhorrent that I, a self and socially identified woman, identify as a feminist.
This was made clear to me this weekend by a peer who loathes me because I am a feminist and am openly willing to disagree with him in class. But don’t worry, because apparently it’s okay to be a feminist if you are cismale. Then feminism is considered a character flaw at the most.

Help with recommended reading
Hey all,
I’m doing a lot of thinking about Women in Philosophy and women’s spaces in general, especially in regards to their exclusivity and whether or not this is an okay thing. I’m pretty torn about it, so if anyone can recommend some reading material for me about such spaces (pro con or other), please let me know about it!

To be working in the library again
I think people are confused about what it is I do here. See, I’m sitting at the front desk. That means questions like: Can I check out this book? Can I return this DVD? Do you have more staples? are all quite appropriate. However, questions like: Why did my computer turn off? How do I save to Darwin? Is this recyclable? Is this the same as working for the CTLT? are not appropriate.
